Inspect cylinders with light probe
Testing compression pressure
Check engine parts for wear and damage
During engine repair additional test work at cylinder head and cylinder head gasket
Remove / install cylinder head cover
Remove / install oil separator
Check cylinder head and cylinder head gasket for wear and damage
Remove / install cylinder head
Check / face grind cylinder head contact surfaces
Check cylinder barrel for wear and damage
Remove / install housing cover at front
Remove / install cover of camshaft sprocket
Measure cylinder bores
Remove / install oil pan
Remove / install constant-speed throttle
Remove / install timing case
Check piston and conrod for wear and damage
During engine repair additional test work at piston / conrod and at cylinder contact surface
Remove / install piston
Remove / install piston rings
Additional tests when carrying out a repair to the crankshaft, main bearing or connecting rod bearing
Remove / install race on crankshaft
Replace front crankshaft radial seal
Replace rear crankshaft radial seal
Remove / install crankshaft gear
Remove / install belt pulley / vibration damper
Remove / install flywheel
Check flywheel, re-machine
Replace ring gear of flywheel
Remove / install race on flywheel
Remove / install guide bearing in flywheel
Remove / install rocker arms assembly
Assemble/disassemble rocker arms assembly
Remove / install camshaft sprocket
Remove / install camshaft
Replace valve stem seals
Remove / install valves
Set valve clearance
Remove / install nozzle holder combination
Clean nozzle holder combination
Remove / install MR/PLD control unit
Remove MR/PLD unit pump, install
Remove / install injection lines MR / PLD
Remove / install air intake hose
Check turbocharger
Remove / install exhaust gas turbocharger
Remove / install charge air pipe
Remove / install charge air pressure, charge air temperature sensor
Remove / install charge air manifold
Remove / install alternator poly-V-belt
Remove / install poly-V-beltfan
Remove / install poly-V-belt tensioning device
Remove / install poly-V-Belt tensioning device for fan drive
Check compressor for oil ejection
Remove / install compressor
Remove / install cylinder head compressor
Remove / install exhaust manifold
Remove / install engine brake flap fittings
Remove/ install starter
Remove / install alternator
Remove / install belt pulley for alternator
Remove / install controller for alternator
Engine: change oil and replace filter
Check oil pressure
Fill engine oil circuit
Remove / install oil spray nozzles (piston)
Remove / install oil pressure relief valve
Remove / install oil pump
Remove / install oil filter housing
Remove / install oil / water heat exchanger
Remove / install oil pressure, oil temperature sensor
Remove / install coolant pump
Remove / install coolant thermostat
Remove / install fan
Remove / install bracket for viscous fan
Remove / install main fuel filter
Remove / install fuel pump
Remove / install bearing for fuel pump drive
Remove / install fuel heat exchanger
