In 2012, a new generation of Sandero was introduced. The new version in all trim levels is equipped with parking sensors and cruise control, airbags. The new line of engines is represented by a gasoline three-cylinder turbocharged engine with a capacity of 90 hp. It is also possible to install a 16V engine with a volume of 1.2 liters and a power of 75 hp, which complies with Euro-5 standards. A gas version of this engine is available.
The off-road version of the car has been updated accordingly.
The third generation Sandero was presented in 2020. The models were developed on the new CMF-B platform, which was also used for the Nissan Beetle, Renault Clio and Renault Arcana. A 1.5-liter diesel engine has disappeared from the complete set of motors, so new items will only come with three-cylinder gasoline-powered units. All of them comply with the Euro 6D standard.
Simpler versions will install a 1.0 liter engine with 65 hp, which is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. This is followed by a turbo engine with a power of 90 hp, which can be combined with a six-speed manual transmission. And the maximum option is the dual-fuel TCe 100, which runs on both petrol and gas.
