The Toyota Avensis is a Japanese-made passenger car. Produced by Toyota from 1997 to 2018. Avensis has replaced another well-known model Toyota Carina. In total there were three generations of Toyota Avensis:

- 3rd generation - 2009 - 2018

- since 2003 - with a volume of 2.0 liters. and a power of 116 horsepower;
- since 2006 - with a volume of 2.0 liters. and a power of 126 horsepower;
- since 2005 - with a volume of 2.2 liters. and a power of 150 horsepower;
- since 2005 - with a volume of 2.2 liters. and a power of 177 horsepower.
At the same time, cars could have one of four types of gearboxes: five-speed or six-speed mechanics; four or five-speed automatic.
Cars of the third generation began to be produced in 2008. The models did not differ in size from their predecessors, but were built on a new platform. Within this generation, only sedan and station wagon body styles were produced. Gone in history and a gasoline engine with a volume of 2.4 liters. Diesel engines have remained in four versions: the volume of 2.0 liters. and power 116 and 126hp; volume 2.2l. and power 150 and 177l.s. On gasoline Avensis, instead of an automatic machine, they began to install a V-belt variator.
In June 2018, the production of Toyota Avensis brand cars ended with the release of the last station wagon.
