Peugeot Boxer presents models of minibuses and vans, which have been produced by JV Sevel SpA since 1994. It is a joint brand of the Italian company Fiat Group and the French company PSA Peugeot Citroën. In different countries it is produced under different brands: Peugeot Boxer, Citroen Jumper, RAM Promaster, Fiat Ducato III. To date, two generations have been released, which have some differences between themselves. The factories are located in Italy, France and Russia.

The Peugeot Boxer I is produced as a successor to the Peugeot J5. The car was equipped with a 2.0 L petrol engine with 110 hp. or a whole range of diesel variants: 1.9 l, 2.5 l, 2.8 l, with an operating power of 70-116 hp. The model was so in demand and presentable that the first modernization took place after 8 years. The changes affected the headlights, they got bigger, changed the interior and equipment inside, and of course the range of engines was replenished with new powerful options. So the car began to be equipped with diesel 2.8 liter engines, with a capacity of 125 hp

The Peugeot Boxer II was shown in 2006 and is still in production today. The car received the serial number Type 250. To improve the new generation, the designers developed new headlights, installing modern LEDs, the old radiator grille and bumper were modified, the hood and fenders were updated. The metal body was improved, equipped with rear hinged doors, a side sliding door is also available in a certain modification. Boxer specifications have also improved markedly. The latest updates were made in 2014, when the car received the factory designation Type 290/295. Thanks to changes in the design of the radiator grille and headlights, the car has become much more attractive. Designers have made adjustments to the interior, using better materials, complementing equipment and comfortable solutions. The engines were updated, the lineup was supplemented with 3.0 liter modifications with a capacity of 115-130 hp. And in 2016, cars began to be equipped with engines in accordance with the EURO-6 standards.

Peugeot Boxer vans are produced in different sizes, so the models can be of the following modifications:

  • full weight options (3.0 t, 3.3 t, 3.5 t, 4.0 t) and carrying capacity from 1000 kg to 2000 kg;
  • options of different wheelbases and lengths;
  • internal volume options (from 8-17 m³);
  • internal heights (1662-2172 mm).

In August 2020, the Peugeot e-Boxer electric van was presented, which received a 122 hp engine with a maximum torque of 260 Nm. The van accelerates to a top speed of 110 km / h.
