A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, with a six-speed EAT6 automatic transmission available as an option. Engines are 1.2 three-cylinder, 1.6 four-cylinder (gasoline) and 1.6 HDI (diesel), wheels with aluminum rims of 17 inches and 19 inches, depending on the model and configuration.
In December 2015, the first updates to the range took place, in particular, the 1.6 diesel and 1.2 petrol disappeared from the list of those to be replaced, and in January 2016, accordingly, new 1.6 BlueHDi with a power of 100 hp appeared. and 1.2 also with 82 hp. widely used in other PSA models.
At the end of 2016, a facelift of the car was presented, debuting with a new updated front end, incorporating the new family atmosphere also adopted by the Peugeot 308 II facelift. The logo has been moved to the front grille and the headlights have been redesigned. At the rear, new taillights with 3D LED graphics debut.
Inside, there is a new multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The engine range remains unchanged for the first two years after the facelift, but between late 2018 and early 2019 the 1.6 BlueHDi is replaced by the new 1.5 BlueHDi with a maximum output of 102 hp.
