Information on repair and maintenance of Opel Combo cars electronically

The Opel Combo small truck is manufactured by the German company General Motors. It is presented in two modifications: a 3-door truck or a 5-door passenger.

For the first time, the model was presented in 1986, and was based on the Opel Kadett. The first 3-4 years were produced in England under the Vauxhall brand, in Australia - Holden Combo, in Chile - Chevrolet. The car was equipped with a 1.3 liter gasoline or 1.6 liter diesel engine.

The second generation B was developed on the basis of the Opel Corsa B in 1994. The main differences were the symmetry of the double rear doors. A year later, a 5-seater version of the car, the Tour, was developed. Unlike its predecessor, the van, it had side glazing and folding three-seater seats. The line of gasoline engines was presented in the volume of 1.4 - 1.6 liters, with a power of 72-105 hp, and diesel engines - 1.7 liters and a capacity of 75 and 100 hp

The next generation C was presented in 2001, respectively, the base was the Opel Corsa C, in the form of a cargo van and a passenger minivan. The rear side doors were sliding, and in the Tour version, the door opened up. The main engines with which the model was equipped were gasoline engines with a volume of 1.3 liters to 1.7 liters. The choice was V-shaped engines with a number of 8 and 16 cylinders.

Standard equipment included electric power steering, airbags. On request, it was possible to install air conditioning, climate control, navigation system, xenon and fog lights, heated seats, power windows and an on-board computer. All engines were paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The fourth generation D was produced from 2011 to 2018, based on the Fiat Doblo. The main production was established in Turkey.

The passenger version is offered with five or seven seats. The list of standard equipment has been revised and improved. So, the base includes: central locking with blocking, body bulkhead, on-board computer, electric power steering, driver airbag, anti-lock braking system with brake force distribution, CD-stereo and a 12-volt socket on the dashboard. Particularly noteworthy is the new Sportive package.

The last generation E was developed in 2018 and is being produced to this day. The car is built on the PSA EMP2 platform, along with the new Peugeot, Citroën and Toyota. The passenger version of the van is called Life. The Combo offers gasoline and diesel engines with varying degrees of boost. Where the volume of 1.2 liters produces 110 or 130 hp, and 1.5 liters has a capacity of 75, 100 or 130 hp. An 8-speed automatic transmission is provided for a gasoline engine, a 6-speed manual for a diesel engine. Drive - full or front. The car is equipped with cruise control, traffic sign recognition system, lane-keeping function.

In Ukraine, Combo Life is presented only with turbo diesel engines: 1.6 l (92 hp) paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and 1.5 l (130 hp) with an 8-speed automatic gearbox ... Opel unveiled the Combo-e electric minivan in early 2021.
