The hybrid version, dubbed the Lexus NX 300h, is powered by a 155 hp 2.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine mated to an electric motor that together develop 197 hp.
The gearbox, depending on the version, is a six-speed automatic or continuously variable.
In 2018, the model received an update with minor modifications to the body, comfort and safety equipment. It comes in five trim levels, front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and one hybrid powertrain.
In June 2021, the second generation Lexus NX was introduced. The car retained similar dimensions (length and width increased by 20 mm, and height by 5 mm), but in many respects significantly differs from its predecessor.
The car is based on the new GA-K platform, which features a 20 mm lower center of gravity and increased front and rear wheel track.
The car also used 95% of new parts (compared to the previous version of the model). The second generation Lexus NX is the first Japanese luxury brand to feature interior design in line with the new Tazun concept.
At the same time, a completely new multimedia system debuted in the car. The second generation Lexus NX is also the brand's first plug-in hybrid model. The total power of the mentioned system is 306 hp, the declared range of movement in electric mode is 63 km.
