LADA Vesta is a lineup of Russian cars that have been produced by Avtovaz since 2015. Models are represented by sedan and station wagon types. They replaced the Priora model series. In 2018, the LADA Vesta brand took a leading position in sales in Russia.
The design of Vesta cars was based on work on the VAZ-2116 models (17, 18). According to the cooperation between Renault, Nissan and AvtoVAZ, the car platform consisted of a tandem of foreign and domestic components. There were 3 different configurations offered for sale: basic classic, medium comfort and maximum luxury. Then it was planned to produce a type of car - a hatchback, but the concern's plan was drastically changed, and the SW and SW Cross station wagons went on sale in 1917. All configurations differ in options. For example, for Classic they use the Start options, for Comfort - Multimedia and Pictures, for Luxe - Multimedia and Prestige.
At the beginning of 2019, the Sport modification was presented, complete with a 1.8 liter engine and its capacity of 145 horsepower. And already at the end of the year the updated LADA line was sold. The main difference is the automatic transmission, powered by a Renault engine. Meanwhile, the car was equipped with an electric heated steering wheel, cornering lights, door stops, and a rear armrest. At the end of 2020, an article flashed on the Internet about a new restyled version of Lada Vesta, which had not yet been presented until today.
Initially, LADA Vesta was created on the basis of the Lada B platform. The car was equipped with two variants of gasoline engines: 1.6 liters, with a capacity of 106 horsepower, and 1.8 liters, with a capacity of 122 horsepower. As for the gearbox, three variations were offered: a manual transmission from Renault (CFL13), a mechanic from VAZ (CFL11) and an automatic (CFL12).
In 2017, they decided to supplement the model with a gas installation, which will allow the car to operate on two types of fuel, which will allow the owner to significantly save on fueling costs.
The main modifications produced under the LADA Vesta brand for 2021 are:
- Cross - sedan, has increased comfort;
- CNG - dual-fuel sedan;
- SW - standard station wagon;
- SW Cross - improved wagon;
- SW Sport - sports station wagon;
- Sport is a sedan equipped with a Luxe package.
