Information on repair and maintenance of Hyundai Porter cars electronically

The Hyundai Porter is a van produced by the South Korean automobile manufacturer Hyundai as a cargo platform or as a chassis for bodies in four generations from 1977 to the present. The generation of these cars is the company's own development. Sometimes the Hyundai Porter is called the Dodge 100.

For customers who need a simple and convenient way to transport goods, the Hyundai Porter has been a staple since 1977. Add a reputation for reliability to a very reasonable price, and it is easy to see why Hyundai continues to develop this beloved model, allowing it to meet the needs of the global market even 40 years after its debut.

Hyundai Porter Specifications

The first generation of cars, which was released in 1977, was called the Hyundai HD1000. This model was built as a 12-seater minibus, 3-seater van, and ambulance. The platform truck or chassis received the Porter suffix. Production of the Hyundai HD1000 ceased in 1981.

In November 1986, Hyundai revived the label by introducing the second generation Porter, which was now a licensed version of the second generation Mitsubishi Delica (L300). It was built with the following body styles: 2-door (truck), 4-door (truck), 3-door (van), and 4-door (van).

In 1993, the Hyundai Porter II received a facelift with a redesigned front end. A steering wheel from a 1991 Hyundai Sonata and a dashboard from a Hyundai Grace were interior upgrades. The car was equipped with a Cyclone D4BX engine, a copy of the Mitsubishi 4D56 diesel engine.

The production of the third generation began in March 1996. The model, called the New Porter, was now based on the Mitsubishi Delica III, like the Hyundai Grace. The model was available with a T-LSD engine with an output of 80 hp. The third generation Hyundai Porter was built with the following body types: 2-door (truck), 4-door (truck), 3-door (van) and 4-door (van).

In 2004, a new model appeared, this time developed by Hyundai itself. The engine used is the D4CB - a diesel engine with a common rail injection system with an output of 128 hp. This model was also temporarily sold as the Dodge 100 in Mexico.

The Hyundai Porter commercial pickup truck brings affordability and usability to small and medium-sized businesses around the world in a compact package. With a standard cab or high bed, a 745 mm (29.5 in) cargo area and a maximum payload of up to 1.3 tons, the 2011 Porter can meet a variety of transportation needs in a variety of industries.

The fourth-generation Hyundai Porter is designed for the European market. It is powered by a 2.5-liter CRDi inline four-cylinder engine producing 130 hp. The Hyundai Porter is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
