Information on repair and maintenance of Fiat Bravo cars electronically

Fiat Bravo is the name of two compact car models of the Italian car manufacturer Fiat.

The first model (Type 182) was produced from autumn 1995 to summer 2001 and replaced the Fiat Tipo. It was replaced by the Fiat Stilo, produced until the beginning of 2007. Its successor was again called Fiat Bravo (Type 198). By using this model name, Fiat wanted to build on the sales success of the first Fiat Bravo after the Fiat Stilo was less successful.

The Fiat Bravo passenger car (Type 198) was produced by the Italian brand Fiat from 2007 to 2015. It was officially unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show and launched on April 19 of that year as a replacement for the Fiat Stilo. Its only body style is a five-door hatchback, designed by ELASIS and Magna in a record time of 18 months.

This car becomes the starting point for a new era in the history of the brand. The company has even developed a completely new logo, which will be presented for the first time on the Fiat Bravo model. Unlike the previous Fiat Stilo and Bravo models, the second generation Fiat Bravo will only be available in a five-door version.

Stylistically, the new product opens a new chapter in Fiat design. Now the company's designers draw inspiration from the classic Fiat models of the 60s with their flowing shapes and rounded sides, as well as from the exterior of modern Maserati models. From the latter, the new Bravo borrows its distinctive front end, bold silhouette lines and sharply contoured sides.

In contrast to the experiments with the Fiat Stilo, the company decided to abandon the platform, adapted to production requirements and dimensions. The body has a clearly defined wedge-shaped shape, all lines are swift and smoothly rounded.

The Fiat Bravo is a harmonious combination of restraint, beauty and modernity. Its appearance is undoubtedly Italian, which gives the model sophistication and expressiveness. The suspension is designed according to a reliable and traditional design for this class of car: pseudo-MacPherson strut at the front and semi-independent at the rear.

Particular attention is paid to the interior design and functionality of the front panel, as well as the level of equipment and on-board electronics, ensuring both safety and comfort of passengers. The Bravo salon impresses with its beautiful design and high quality materials. Every small detail is carefully worked out.

There have also been significant changes in the engine range. The base engine, already known from previous models, is a 1.4-liter 90-horsepower gasoline unit. The remaining four engines debuted on the Fiat Bravo II. These are two 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engines developing from 120 to 150 horsepower depending on boost pressure, as well as a pair of 1.9-liter multi-jet turbodiesels with similar power.

A Golf-class model, first of all, should be practical. Despite the classic dimensions for a C class car (length 4340 mm, width 1790 mm and height 1490 mm), the Fiat Bravo has a very impressive wheelbase of 2600 mm. According to company representatives, this allowed engineers to provide a high level of comfort for all five passengers, as well as increase the luggage compartment volume to 400 liters, which is one of the best indicators in its class.
