While in the US this variant was available with both all-wheel drive and a CVT transmission, in Europe the R/T was only offered with front-wheel drive and a five-speed transmission.
In the fall of 2007, the Dodge Caliber SRT4 (Street and Racing Technology) was introduced to the US market. This model was equipped with the 2.4 liter engine from the R/T, which received a power increase to 217 kW (295 hp) due to turbocharging, as well as a six-speed manual transmission from Getrag (DMT6) and 19-inch alloy wheels. The SRT4 model was only available with front-wheel drive.
In the summer of 2010, the Dodge Caliber 2.0 CRD was replaced by the 2.2 CRD with 120 kW (163 hp). According to factory information, the standard consumption is 5.8 l/100 km.
Dodge Caliber, equipped with a two-liter engine and a 6-speed CVT, is offered in five trim levels: P0, P1, P2, SXT P1 and SXT P2.
