Information on repair and maintenance of Chevrolet Rezzo cars electronically
The first was Daewoo Tacuma, produced since 2001. After the Korean manufacturer came under the wing of GM and the concern rebranded, the car began to be produced under the Chevrolet brand. The last modernization was carried out in the spring of 2004. Since the beginning of 2005, cars supplied to Europe have received a new name - Chevrolet Rezzo.
Originally released as the Daewoo Rezzo or Daewoo Tacuma, it was renamed the Chevrolet Rezzo or Chevrolet Tacuma in late 2004 when General Motors took over the distribution of European Daewoo vehicles. The model was discontinued in Europe at the end of 2008 and was replaced by the Chevrolet Orlando only at the end of 2010.
Italian specialists from the Pininfarina studio worked on the original body design. The exterior of the Chevrolet Rezzo pleases the eye with the smooth lines of the body and the dynamic shape of the side windows. The vertically positioned, elegant taillights and custom-made 15-inch alloy wheels enhance the vehicle's refined appearance. One of the eye-catching elements of the front of the car is the newly designed radiator grille.
Among the features of the car are a small turning circle and a high seating position, guaranteeing good visibility, which makes the car maneuverable and dynamic. The interior of the Chevrolet Rezzo is designed with maximum comfort for passengers. The driver's seat is comfortably adjustable, including height adjustment, and has good lumbar support.
All controls for systems and on-board instruments are located in close proximity to the driver. There is a central armrest between the front seats (in some versions), and in a hidden niche between the front and rear row seats there is a storage compartment. A spacious interior with convenient compartments for various things, air conditioning or climate control with electronic control (depending on the modification) and many other interior details make the Rezzo interior a real relaxation area for a family of five. The instrument panel and the top of the center console form a single unit under a large oval visor.
Chevrolet Rezzo provides a high level of safety thanks to various functions and systems. Among them:
- Programmable crumple zones that help absorb and dissipate energy during collisions, protecting occupants.
- Frontal airbags for the driver and front passenger, which prevent impact with hard parts of the passenger compartment during a frontal collision.
- Side airbags designed to protect passengers in the event of a side collision.
- Front seat belt pretensioners provide additional crash protection.
- Height-adjustable headrests for passenger comfort and safety.
- Anti-lock braking system (ABS), which prevents wheel locking during hard braking, providing better vehicle control in emergency situations.
- Central locking and immobilizer are standard, providing additional protection against theft.
As for transmissions, engineers decided to keep the choice simple by offering customers only a four-speed automatic.
In 2000, the 3.1-liter LG8 V6 engine's power increased to 170 hp, and the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder LD9 I4 was dropped from the engine offerings. Also this model year, the car received a new grille.

The car received an updated exterior and a new Epsilon platform for front-wheel drive cars.
The sixth generation Chevrolet Malibu launched in 2008. The car received an updated exterior of a 4-door sedan built on the Epsilon platform with an extended wheelbase. The car has become more technologically advanced, safe and economical. The base unit of the new sedan is the 1.5 Ecotec turbo engine with 160 hp. and with a torque of 250 Nm, equipped with a start/stop system.
The second engine is a more powerful 2.0 Ecotec with 250 hp. and with a torque of 350 Nm. The first engine is combined with a six-speed automatic transmission, and the second with a new eight-speed Hydra-Matic transmission.
In 2016, the Chevrolet Malibu was completely updated. The new modification of Malibu Premier made a positive impression at first glance. This car is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine and a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission. The new Malibu's design was heavily inspired by the Chevy Impala, offering sleek lines and modern style. The Malibu L comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control and an AM/FM radio.
The 2016 lineup begins with the LS model, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with USB ports and Bluetooth, as well as a 7-inch MyLink infotainment system display.
For 2017, the 2LT model was dropped and a nine-speed automatic transmission was offered as an option.
