Information on repair and maintenance of Peugeot 4007 cars electronically

The Peugeot 4007 is a compact crossover SUV produced by the French automaker Peugeot from 2007 to 2013. This model is the first SUV of the French car manufacturer Peugeot. The car was developed on the basis of the second generation Mitsubishi Outlander and is based on the extended GS platform.

The Peugeot 4007 featured two types of engines: a 2.4-liter petrol with a capacity of 170 horsepower, and a 2.2-liter HDi turbodiesel with a capacity of 155 horsepower, produced by Peugeot.

Peugeot initially offered only the 2.2-litre HDi diesel engine with particulate filter for the Peugeot 4007. It produces 156 hp. and has a torque of 380 Nm, which is automatically transmitted to all four wheels, the front wheels or up to 55% to the rear axle through a six-speed manual gearbox. From December 2009, a six-speed dual-clutch transmission (called "DCS 6" by Peugeot) was also available as an option for the turbodiesel engine.

Later a 2.4-litre four-cylinder GEMA petrol engine (called "Weltmotor") with 170 hp was added. and a torque of 232 Nm, which was developed in the spring of 2010 due to low demand.

The Peugeot 4007 was equipped with independent suspension (McPherson front and multi-link rear), power steering, disc brakes (ventilated front) and an electronically controlled all-wheel drive system (in some versions). This system allowed you to select a mode depending on road and weather conditions: economical front-wheel drive 2WD, permanent all-wheel drive 4WD and all-wheel drive with differential lock 4WD Lock for difficult road conditions.

The Peugeot 4007 was offered in three basic trim levels: Access, Active and Allure. Standard equipment varied depending on the version and could include alloy wheels, power windows, climate control, tire pressure monitor, cruise control, MP3 and CD player, anti-lock brake system (ABS) and brake force distribution (EBD). More expensive trim levels could be complemented by larger alloy wheels, heated seats, leather upholstery and parking sensors. Additional options included Bluetooth, rear parking sensors, metallic body color, various seat upholstery options, power driver's seat and parking sensors.

The traditional “cat” appearance of the front of the car demonstrates the design compliance with the general stylistic line of the Peugeot 4007. The radiator grille combined with the air intake and narrow blocks make a great impression, this immediately gives the car a very aggressive look.

Convex fenders are the personification of the power and sporty character of the car. Wide wheel arches, alloy wheels of impressive diameter and increased ground clearance emphasize the vehicle's driving dynamics in all driving conditions. From the rear, the Peugeot 4007 looks more traditional for compact SUVs.

The interior is as functional as possible; it offers ample opportunities for convenient transportation of things of different sizes. When decorating the interior, innovative materials are used that can withstand large temperature changes. The black instrument panel, made of a pleasant-to-touch texture, gives the interior a sophisticated yet dynamic style. Silver inserts, a leather steering wheel and gear knob are pleasing to the eye and enhance the vivid impressions of the car. Inside, everything is at your fingertips. The control panel instruments have an interesting round shape and are slightly recessed into the dashboard.
