The Nissan Juke is a B-segment SUV launched by the Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan in 2010. It has a transverse front engine, front or four-wheel drive and a five-door body. The first is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and the other two are paired with a six-speed. Petrol also available with continuously variable transmission.
The second generation Nissan Juke was introduced in early September 2019. It is now based on the Renault-Nissan CMF-B platform introduced on the Renault Clio V. Since market launch, a fully equipped Premiere Edition is available, limited to 500 units in Europe, and includes 19-inch alloy wheels. In addition to the colored elements in Fuji Red, the Edition models also have a matching number plate.
Compared with the previous model, the new Nissan Juke has become larger, while the wheelbase has grown by ten centimeters. The weight was reduced by 23 kg.
Overall, its front end retains typical Nissan Juke fashion, where the headlights, now LED, are integrated into the lower part of the bumper, topped by new LED daytime running lights. You still get fog lights, but now with LEDs.
On its side profile, you'll immediately notice the contrasting roof design, a common trend seen on its competitors such as the Suzuki Vitara and Toyota C-HR. Like its predecessor, the rear door handles are still located on the C-pillar.
As for the rear, it now has a new design of taillights, different from the boomerang taillights of the previous model.
Initially, the car was powered exclusively by a three-cylinder 86 kW (117 hp) front wheel drive petrol engine. This turbocharged powertrain debuted in the fifth generation of the Nissan Micra in early 2019.
The SUV has a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission available at an additional cost. In June 2022, the drive range was expanded to include a 1.6-litre full hybrid with 105 kW (143 hp).
Despite all the advantages of the Nissan Juke, it is worth remembering that repairing an SUV can be quite expensive.
