Automobile brand GROZ started production in 2008 within the Chinese automobile concern Dadi Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Although the plant specialized only in the manufacture of automotive components, GROZ became the starting point for creating its own cars. In 2009, the first Groz Fox pickup was released, which became the basis for all subsequent cars of this brand. Each element of the vehicle structure, gearbox and engine is a licensed analogue of such manufacturers as Mitsubishi, Toyota and Isuzu. Quality control is carried out at the factory, where all components are subject to inspection.
At the same time, the Dadi concern began to cooperate with well-known world brands for the production of components, contracts were signed with Mitsubishi, KIA, Toyota, General Motors. By the end of the year, the plant had produced two more SUVs that marked the Rocky and Rocky 1. These cars were copies of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, differing only in interior and engine, and the engine power was 140 hp.
Without slowing down, production of the next model of the Groz Shuttle SUV will start in 2010. For some reason, most took it as a copy of the Toyota Land Cruiser, but in fact, the body of the Isudzu Rodeo of the 80s was taken as the basis. The model was in demand not only in China, but also in the automotive markets in Thailand. Modifications of the car were equipped with a 2.2-2.3 liter engine, and the power was 105 hp.
The next year, Dadi entered into a cooperation agreement with Nissan, and received a license to manufacture Teana and Qashqai models under the GROZ brand. Every year, a whole series of cars appeared, which attracted owners with their stylish design and technical parameters.
